COVID-19 Update

How Marine View Optometry is responding to the COVID-19 Pandemic

To our valued patients and customers,

After several weeks of doing our part to flatten the curve, we are pleased to announce our return to regular business hours starting May 19th, 2020. With all the fear and uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, we would like to assure you that the health and safety of our patients and staff is our top priority. We have put in place a series of protocols and physical barriers to ensure your family’s safety and peace of mind.

Here’s what you can expect at your next visit to our office:

All patients will be seen by appointment only. This includes eye exams, purchasing or picking up eye wear, as well as frame adjustments. Same day appointments are still available, but we ask that you call our office first, so that we can schedule you accordingly.

Our daily appointment schedule has been formatted to maximize physical distancing among patients. We respectfully ask that you have no more than one person accompany you to the appointment.

Our staff may contact you prior to your appointment to discuss your ocular concernsand ensure you are not sick before visiting our office. If you have any COVID symptoms (cough or fever), or have travelled recently, or have been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID, we ask that you reschedule your appointment.

All patients, staff, and doctors must wear masks. Due to supply shortage, we kindly ask that you bring your own mask to your appointment.

All patients will be asked to use our hand sanitizer upon check-in.

Plexiglass barriers have been set up at our reception and dispensing desks for your safety. We have also installed sneeze guards on several pieces of equipment to maximize separation between our doctors and patients.

All contacted surfaces will be diligently disinfected between each patient. This also includes the sanitation of any glasses frames that have been handled by staff or patient.

We thank you for your patience and understanding during these unusual times. If you would like further information on our safety protocols, please feel free to contact our office via phone or email. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

With all the fear and uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, we would like to assure you that the health and safety of our patients and staff is our top priority
